Dr. BSV Raju is among the best Neurosurgeons in Hyderabad and is a Neuro & Spine surgeon at Aster Prime Hospital, Hyderabad. He has completed his MBBS training from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada in 1989. In 1992, he obtained his MS (Orthopaedics) and DNB from Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam.
In 1996, Dr. Raju completed MCh from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad.
Dr. BSV Raju completed the certification course from US Medical License Examination (USMLE) in 1998. Later, in 2003, he completed the Spine & Peripheral Nerve Fellowship from Stanford University and Spine Fellowship from Wayne State University, Detroit, USA.
He has been widely recognized for his achievements in spine surgery and has won awards from the Association of Spine Surgeons of India.
Dr. Raju has held prestigious professional positions, such as Treasurer, Andhra Pradesh Neuroscientists Association (2009-2012) and Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Neuroscientists Association (2012- 2015).
Dr. Raju’s area of expertise includes skeletal muscle therapy, CSF rhinorrhoea repair surgery, spine surgery, spinal diseases, muscle release, musculoskeletal pain management, wrist problems, and correction of deformities.
Performed the first percutaneous laser discectomy in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Dr. Raju presently has the vastest experience of this technique in the country.
